Q: May I bring my child with me into the fitness center?
A: You may bring your child into the fitness center if he/she is 12 years of age or older. Children 12 years old must go through a teen fitness orientation and be accompanied by an adult working out side by side. Children 13 and 14 years of age are required to have a teen orientation and will then have full access to our fitness center.
Q: Where do I begin on my quest to be healthy?
A: New Member Wellness Orientations are a great way to start. If you are a new member or an existing member who is starting from scratch, an orientation will be very helpful. You will meet with a knowledgeable fitness staff member to discuss goals and how best to accomplish them.
Q: I have tried to improve my health in the past and failed. How can I make this time different?
A: Enlist the help of a fitness professional. The Y has excellent Certified Personal Trainers to help you design a program that will meet your needs and keep you on track. We also offer Wellness Coaching as a way to bridge the gap from where you are right now to where you want to be.
