BSA Girls Troop 211

Scouts BSA Troop 211 in Ashland, Oregon - a girl-led Troop of the Boy Scouts of America chartered by the Ashland Family YMCA, founded February 1, 2019.

We are pleased to announce the second recruitment season of Troop 211, a GIRLS ONLY Scouts BSA Troop - the new name for Boy Scouts.  Girls are signing up NOW to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a member of the first Scouts BSA Girls Troop in Southern Oregon.

Scouting activities include weekend and week-long camping, outdoor cooking, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, first aid, knots, archery, .22 rifle shooting, fishing, teamwork, and leadership - all while having fun with your friends!  Earn merit badges, rank advancements, and achieve Scouting's most-coveted rank, the Eagle Scout Award.

Our troop is located in Ashland, Oregon and we welcome girls from anywhere in the region. Eligible girls must be at least 10 1/2 years old and not yet reached their 18th birthday.  Troop 211 meets every Tuesday at 6:30pm at the Ashland Y Annex Building (physical distancing with masks currently required).
