Click here for the updated safety protocols.

We will continue to pay attention to how we all enter, exit, move about, wipe down surfaces and maintain proper physical distancing.  We will continue to follow the revised member code of conduct to ensure that we all do our part to stay healthy and safe.  The new rule of no more than 6 people in an area will be monitored regularly, signs are posted as a reminder. With the new government protocols, we are now requiring face masks at all times.

We plan to re-open our facility in phases, due to staffing limitations, we will re-open slowly.

We are anticipating another update from the Governor's office on January 26 and remain hopeful to reopen our YMCA Fitness Center and Aquatic Center soon.

We continue to offer emergency childcare (YCares program) and have introduced virtual personal training and small group training options for members.

We are so excited to announce that we have officially opened our NEW outdoor fitness area.  Members will have access to it Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12:00p-2:00p. Masks are required. You will find it at the soccer field pavilion behind our facility, with plenty of parking.

Members have access to our Virtual Y site with live and recorded health & fitness classes allowing you to exercise and stay healthy while at home.  We are adding classes regularly so be sure to check it out.

Although our facility is closed to the public, we continue to have staff available to answer phones, return messages and respond to emails (Monday to Friday 9:00a-5:00p).  We are encouraging everyone to check our website regularly for updates and helpful information.

If you kept your membership active during our closures in 2020, we sincerely thank you.  Your paid membership dues during our closure can be used as a tax deductible donation on your 2020 taxes.  If you would like a tax deductible donation receipt, please email us your request at membership@ashlandymca.org

We hope you have been able to enjoy the outdoors during the warmer than usual January weather and we can't wait to see you again!

We will get through this together.

TWO-WEEK PAUSE IN JACKSON COUNTY 11.11.20

The Ashland Family YMCA is aware of an announcement from the Governor's office calling for a Two-Week Pause for several Oregon counties, including Jackson County, from 11/11 through 11/25. Under the updated measures, many establishments, including gyms, are asked to reduce to a 50 person capacity.

As you may know, the Y is more than a gym, encompassing a child care center, an aquatics center, a fitness center, and a gymnastics/sports court area. We would like to assure our members that we are continuing to monitor the capacity levels of each area of the Y, as we have since reopening June 1.  We have been able to stay under the 50 person per area threshold since we opened on June 1st and will continue to do so during this two-week pause.

The health and safety of our members and our staff are of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to follow guidelines set by the Governor's office. Thank you for doing your part to promote health and safety at your Y and in your community!

-Your Ashland Family YMCA Staff

*if you need accommodations or have questions, please see management.

Fitness Center:  face covering, shields or masks are required at all times even while exercising and maintaining physical distance.
