One person can help save hundreds of lives, that's why we are doing our part in the community by hosting American Red Cross Blood Drives at our YMCA.

We are hosting American Red Cross Blood Drives at the Ashland Family YMCA on the following Wednesdays in 2022.

• Wednesday, August 3
• Wednesday October 5

Volunteers are also needed for the blood drives. Let us know if you would like to give back to our community in this way.

A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.

Blood:  The most common type of donation, during which approximately a pint of 'whole blood' is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour.
