Pet Palooza Returns to the ASHLAND FAMILY YMCA — With Even MORE Furry Friends Searching for Homes!

Spring is the season of renewal… and for many animals in our community, it could also be the season they finally find a home. It’s also the time of year when shelters see a significant influx of kittens and puppies, making the need for support and adoption even greater. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the return of Pet Palooza at the ASHLAND FAMILY YMCA on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM!

After the heartwarming success of last year’s events, we’re bringing even more adoptable pets to meet you — and we’re once again partnering with Jackson County Animal Services and Friends of the Animals (FOTAS) to help dogs and cats in need find loving families.

What to Expect

Whether you’re seriously considering adoption or simply adore spending time with animals, Pet Palooza is a joyful, low-pressure way to connect with local pets who are looking for their second chance. And with spring babies filling local shelters, your visit can make an even bigger impact.

Here’s what you’ll find when you stop by the ASHLAND FAMILY YMCA Lobby:

🐶 Adoptable dogs and cats you can meet in person
🐱 A large binder of additional pets currently available through our partners
💛 Friendly staff and volunteers from FOTAS and Jackson County Animal Services
🌟 A welcoming, hopeful atmosphere full of cuddles, wags, and purrs

These events bring visibility to animals who often wait quietly in shelters, and they give our community a chance to make a life-changing connection. You never know when you’ll meet your future best friend.
