Do you remember the first time you learned something new, with the support of a trusted adult, and surrounded by peers? This is what it means to be part of Youth Sports at the Ashland Family YMCA. We offer an open and accepting space for kids to earn new things and grow. Youth Sport participation helps create a foundation for lifelong healthy habits! All skill levels are welcome.

Multi-Season Opportunities
Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a fun, dynamic, and effective activity program. The unique combination of structured action tempered with discipline and good manners provides children with an appropriate environment to apply and release their boundless energy. We offer a safe place, a quality curriculum, and experienced guidance.
Full Court Basketball
An opportunity to practice, learn from others and have a blast! Thia classic and ever-popular sport offers the perfect mix of competition and camaraderie.
Fall Youth Sports
Fall Soccer
As the school year begins and the weather cools off, soccer season arrives! Participants have the opportunity to develop skills and grow new friendships. Lace up your cleats for a season of laughter, challenge and cool Saturday mornings! Ages 2.5-12
NFL Flag Football
Build skills and gain self-confidence with NFL Flag Football at the Y! Volunteer coaches focus on developing players’ core skills such as ball handling, defense, offense, conditioning and more. In this game, there’s a position for everyone!
Winter Youth Sports
Basketball
Work as a team and learn about yourself! From beginners to trick shot legends there is a spot for you in our basketball league! Teams are organized based on skill level, ensuring fair competition and an enjoyable experience for all participants.
Spring Youth Sports
Volleyball
Friendships, new skills, team work, and challenge: volleyball at the Ashland Family YMCA has it all! Volunteer coaches focus on building players’ core skills such as ball handling, defense, offense, conditioning and more. Teams are organized based on skill levels, ensuring fair competition and an enjoyable experience for all participants.
Spring Soccer
Soccer at the Ashland Family YMCA is where friendships are formed and skills are developed! Lace up your cleats for a season of laughter, learning, and challenge. Ages 2.5-12
Specialty Clinics and Events
Youth Sports Clinics
Clinics are multi-day or multi-week long sport single sport concentrated learning opportunities. They are offered in fall, spring, and winter depending on the local school schedule. Each provides a great opportunity for your kids to learn from experts and stay active!
Pickleball Clinic
Experienced player and coach, Cori Frank will be offering a pickleball clinic for young players to learn and play the sport of pickleball!
Lacrosse Clinic
Run by former SOU Coach, Mark Brown! Come learn the basic skills and game strategy of Lacrosse. Build strength, speed, agility and coordination. Open to youth ages 7 – 15
