Administration

The HR Director is a strategic leader responsible for cultivating an exceptional experience for employees of the YMCA. This role provides executive oversight of Human Resources, and Payroll & Benefits administration, ensuring alignment between people strategy, operational excellence, and the YMCA’s mission and values. Serving as both a strategic business partner and hands-on leader, this individual oversees the full employee lifecycle while driving professional growth, staff retention, and service excellence. Serving as a trusted partner to the Executive Director and leadership team, this role supports organizational priorities including operations, membership, programs, staff development, and community engagement. This individual helps ensure continuity, strengthen systems, and advance key initiatives while fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture aligned with YMCA values. This role requires a high degree of adaptability, sound judgment, and a willingness to lead, support, and execute wherever organizational needs are greatest.

Full-time, salary. This position assumes responsibility for the management and daily operations at one of our preschool program sites. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of preschool programming and curriculum, set by the Preschool Director, at one preschool site. This role is responsible for operating an Ashland Family YMCA preschool site in compliance with current licensing and/or preschool promise requirements. This position is year- round. Could be asked to travel to any YMCA Preschool location to help. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 7:30a-4:30p
Salary: $54,000-$64,480
