Celebrating Lucas, Meaningful Work and a Workplace Where Everyone Belongs
We have something pretty special to celebrate at the Y. The Ashland Family YMCA was named Pathways’ Employer of the Year!
This award recognizes a business that creates meaningful employment opportunities for people who experience disabilities, and for us, it means so much because it’s really about people.
It’s about Lucas, who brings hard work, dedication and pride to the Y every day. With the support of our team, he has built a consistent routine, developed independence, expanded his skills and become a valued part of our Y family.
When Pathways approached us about new opportunities for Lucas, our team was ready to find ways to make them happen. We’re especially proud of Dusty, Gina and everyone who has helped support Lucas along the way.
