Gymnastics Instructor

Part-time, hourly. Responsible for and supervises a group of children in a gymnastics class or camp. Guides skill development that is consistent with YMCA values. Previous experience as a gymnast, teaching gymnastics, or working with children in a childcare, camp, or classroom setting required.

Schedule:
MAY
Monday 2-5:45
Tuesday 2-6:15
Wednesday 1:45-4:15
Thursday 2-6:30
Saturdays 8:45-11am

STARTING JUNE 17TH
Monday-Friday 12:30-4:30
and hours before and after camp as needed

Salary:
$16-17.50/hr
(5% bilingual pay differential)

Preschool Head Teacher/ Sub Site Director

Full-time, exempt. Responsible for the management and operations at one of our preschool program sites. Leads the development and implementation of preschool programming and curriculum, set by the Preschool Director, at one preschool site. Operates an Ashland Family YMCA preschool site in compliance with current licensing requirements. This position is year-round.

Schedule:
M-F, 7:15a-4:15p

Salary:
$52,000 – $57,000/yr 
$500 sign-on bonus after 90 days!

 

Preschool Teacher

Full-time, hourly. Provides direct supervision of assigned group of children in a preschool classroom setting. Creates positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Promotes and supports the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections.

Schedule:
M-F, 9a-6p

Salary:
$21 – $24/hr 
(5% bilingual pay differential). $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days!

Preschool Aide 1

Full-time, hourly. Assists the Head Teacher in providing direct supervision of a group of children in a preschool setting. Creates positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Promotes and supports the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections.

Schedule:
M-F, 7:30a-4:30p
M-F, 9a-6p

Salary:
$15-17/hr 
(5% bilingual pay differential)

Day Camp Counselor

Full or part-time seasonal positions leading and supervising youth in traditional day-camp activities including sports, games, crafts, physical activity and adventure, outside play, etc. It’s going to be a great Summer Unplugged!



Schedule: Monday-Friday, various shift times available

Salary: $16 – $17.50/hr (5% bilingual pay differential)

Sports Day Camp Counselor

Full or part-time seasonal positions leading and supervising youth in sports day-camp activities.  Our camps are geared towards athletes of all skill levels! Camps will focus on the fundamentals and strategies of specific sports. It’s going to be a great Summer Unplugged! 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, various shift times available

Salary: $16 – $17.50/hr (5% bilingual pay differential)

YMCA Camp DeBoer Cabin Counselor

We are looking for the seasonal camp staff to join our team for an exciting summer where you can have a real positive impact on kids while building camp memories of friendship and fun. Camp Counselor live and work in a camper cabin, with a co-counselor, to provide constructive, responsible leadership and guidance for a cabin group of 12 – 14 children ages 6 – 13. Camp counselors will be in charge of leading the cabin during the week while campers participate in programs and activities.

Schedule: Seasonal (7/8/24 – 8/2/24)

Salary: $475 – $525/week

Lifeguards

Part-time, with a variety of shifts. We will certify you! Contact aquatics@ashlandymca.org for more information!

Schedule: Various shift times available throughout the week

Salary: $16-$20/hr DOE

Swim Lesson Instructors

Part-time, weekday afternoons. Teaching basic to advanced water safety skills and strokes to youth. We will train you!

Schedule: Weekday afternoons

Salary: $16-$23/hr DOE
