Pool Renovation Update at the ASHLAND FAMILY YMCA

We’re excited to share a progress update on our pool renovation—and the transformation is truly coming along beautifully! Our contractors are making excellent headway, and we’re thrilled to give you a behind-the-scenes look with photos highlighting the work in action. While we originally hoped to reopen the pool on January 2, the scope and care going into these upgrades mean the reopening is now anticipated for mid-January. We know delays are never ideal, but this additional time ensures the highest-quality results for a refreshed, safe, and long-lasting pool experience.

This major refresh of our pool area includes full pool and spa resurfacing, new lighting, and refreshed surfaces throughout. Every detail is focused on creating a brighter, safer, and more enjoyable pool experience for our community.

While the pool is closed, our amazing pool staff are staying busy by helping with the renovation efforts and supporting our Member Services Team at the front desk—so you’ll still see their friendly faces at check-in and around the facility helping in other departments.

We deeply appreciate your patience and continued support as we invest in these important improvements. Every update brings us closer to welcoming you back into a brighter, refreshed, and more inviting pool space.

Alternate Pool Access During Closure

During the closure, the Ashland Tennis and Fitness Club continues to welcome ASHLAND FAMILY YMCA members through mid January, 2026. Members may use the ATFC pool on a pay-per-swim basis of $10 per half hour with same-day reservations. Amenities include private lane access, locker rooms, saunas, spa pools, and the option to join water aerobics classes for $12 per session. (Other club facilities are not included.) Payment by credit card is required upon arrival, and ATFC reserves the right to deny or terminate access at its discretion.
